EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY

Exchange, Refund & Delivery Policy

At The D Closet, we aim to provide high-quality pieces and a smooth shopping experience. By placing an order, you agree to the following policy.

Exchanges

We accept exchanges for items returned in original condition (unworn, unwashed, undamaged, with original packaging).

  • Exchange requests: must be made within 2 business days of delivery
  • Damaged items: must be reported within 24 hours with clear photos via email or Instagram

Canada: Exchanges are accepted. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item received is defective or incorrect.

USA & International: All orders are Final Sale. No returns or exchanges.

Additional conditions:

  • Only one exchange per order
  • Exchanges are subject to approval after inspection
  • Approved exchanges are issued as store credit only

Store Credit

  • Store credit is issued excluding original shipping fees
  • Valid for 2 weeks from the issue date
  • Any unused balance expires after 2 weeks
  • Store credit cannot be refunded or converted to cash

Once approved, you will receive return instructions and the return address.

Returned items must be shipped within 2 business days and a valid tracking number must be provided.

If we confirm your exchange request and no response or tracking number is received within 2 business days, the request will be automatically canceled.

The D Closet is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged return parcels.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

Delivery

Orders are processed and delivered within 5–9 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Shipping Disclaimer

Once the order is handed to the courier, The D Closet is not responsible for delivery delays, lost or damaged packages, incorrect shipping information provided by the customer, or unclaimed parcels.

Product Disclaimer

  • Size & Fit: Size recommendations are based on average measurements and fit may vary depending on body shape.
  • Measurements may vary by 1–2 cm.

Fraud & Dispute Policy

The D Closet is committed to maintaining a secure shopping environment. We take fraudulent activities, including unauthorized chargebacks and mail fraud, very seriously. Please be advised that:

  • Legal Protection: All transactions are legally protected and monitored. In cases of suspected fraudulent disputes or 'friendly fraud,' we reserve the right to pursue all legal avenues.
  • Federal Reporting: Any attempts to commit mail fraud or financial theft will be formally reported to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) and the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) for federal investigation.

  • Information Disclosure: To protect our business, we will provide all necessary evidence, including communication records, and proof of delivery, to the relevant authorities and financial institutions.

  • Restricted Access: Customers who initiate unauthorized disputes will be permanently banned from future purchases at The D Closet.
